 They're IGBC Bear-Resistant Certified. That means they've been put through the ringer and passed the tests from the Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee. So yeah, they're tough enough to handle even the grizzliest of situations.  These babies are tough enough to handle whatever nature throws at 'em.
